A second Giant Leap for Mankind? Mars One Offers one way trip.

 Ever dreamt of going to Mars, be a martian and stay there for you entire human life? You are in luck!

     A Dutch company plans to send people to Mars by 2023.The Project called " Mars One " is a non-profit organisation that will send you to Mars and live there forever. Yes , forever... Until the company decides to give you a return ticket. Do you think you have what it takes ?

I first read about Mars One back in June. The project is based on a concept of building a human colony on Mars and filming the entire process. Remember the Sci-fi Horror movie "Apollo 18" back in 2011?
I hope there is no dangerous life forms in the Red Planet, Imagine watching a long horror movie but only reality.
There are a few ambassadors from around the world, including Prof. Dr. Gerard 't Hooft, Paul Römer, Mary Roach, Gerard Blaauw, Prof.Dr.Ir.Boudewijn Ambrosius, and even Dr.Sheikh Muszaphar Shukor who is a doctor and astronaut of Malaysia.
Besides ambassadors, this project have even interested aerospace companies including SpaceX, Astrobotic, and ILC Dover

This year, Mars one will hold a global lottery to select 40 people to train and prepare for Mars. They will be sent to live in a simulation for three months, which the number of people will be reduced down to 10. As Mars One said. By 2023, this group will be sent to mars to form the first permanent human colony. They will send four people in the first trip, then more astronauts every two years. Although this is a One-Way trip, The company stated that the possibility for a return visit to earth may open up. But not guaranteed.

For lots of people, this seems like a very bizarre idea and label it as impossible, although it might not seem possible but in my opinion, this thing could actually happen. So do you think you can survive and mantain a stable mental health living in a cold, barren red planet and have the skills?  Get noticed and expect to be included in the worldwide lottery this year! 
To be honest, I am kind of interested in this as I always wanted to be an Astronaut or a Scientist but the only problem is , I am 15 and I am gonna miss Earth.

How to format Windows 7 ( Easy Steps)


ReFormatting Tutorial for computers running on Windows 7


In this tutorial, I will explain how to format your hard drive on your PC with your Windows 7 CD.
You will learn some basic computer knowledge on formatting computers and you will not ever need to pay for reformatting.
Things Needed 
  • Windows 7 Installation Disc
  • A Computer to Format
  • A External Storage for Backup "Optional"
  • (USB Drive, Hard Drive ETC)
Before you do anything, Make sure you have already backed up all your important files,
Check if you backed up your Pictures , Musics and videos in your My Documents folder before doing anything.

Step by step Instructions

For Full Performance and Stability , and a Computer free of Virus, Malware and Spyware.
It is highly recommended to do a Clean installation in a Clean partition/HardDrive.
As you read this tutorial, it will teach you how to format your partition.

  • Backup your computer

  •  Insert your Windows 7 Installation Disc into your CD/DVD drive to get started.



  • Shutdown you computer 


  • BIOS MODE

To access bios mode, You need to press a specific key during the boot-up.
Computers that are built during the last few years allow you to access bios mode with these buttons during startup. F1, F2, DEL, ESC, F10
Heres an example of a " F2 = Setup "  that appeared at the top right corner of a Dell computer boot screen.  It is usually a text located on the Corners of the screen. Note : this is not the Windows boot screen this is the Boot Screen of the system normally appearing before the windows boot screen.

  • Change boot sequence in bios

This is the bios screen , Its different kind of bios but they are mostly the same.

Find the screen that allows you to change the boot sequence. 
And Set it to boot from the CD Drive before the hard drive. 

Save changes and Reboot , continue to the next step.

  • Booting from CD

Once you see this screen, simply press a key to continue booting from CD




  • System Load

After that your computer , there will be a loading screen



  • Begin Setup and follow the steps shown

Do your settings and stuff. Follow the steps
Read and Accept the conditions and click next
Click on custom( advanced )



  • Partition Manager

Format the partition for clean install. 
DANGER: Formatting a partition will erase all data on the partition, remember to back up your files.
To proceed click on Drivers Option, and format the partition that you want to install windows 7

Click next and then just wait for the setup!

  • Install Windows 7

This is the easiest step! But it will take a while
Just wait for it to Reboot, 
From here, installation of Windows will proceed. 
The computer will reboot more than 2 times and will continue installing.
Just follow the on screen instruction during the setup
CAUTION : DO NOT REMOVE WINDOWS 7 CD WHILE INSTALLING.

WARNING: DURING REBOOTS , IT WILL ASK YOU TO BOOT FROM CD (PRESS ANY KEY) DONT DO ANYTHING!!

After the Setup, Just do the onscreen instructions and voila! You are now ready to start over.. Thanks for reading , hope it helps you.

Origin of Surnames


              In today's civilisation, we are all named specifically in order to be known. We want to know who we really are and where  our names originated from . Names are very important as they have meaning to the individual and their families. The most important type of names is the surname, they give us meaning of our family's history and origins. Our family names have changed drastically overtime, causing trouble to most of us that are searching the origins of our names.



The very first appearance of surnames was i the bible, people were named accordingly by their home, jobs, land and even their village. People in that time did not have a surname because they simply do not need them, the population of their villages are so small that all people have different first names. As the population of their villages grew, people started having surnames named by their jobs, tradition and culture.

As time goes by, our ancestors started changing their surnames. When our ancestors, in search of freedom  has decided to settle in america, They changed their surnames by shortening it or changing it completely in order to feel more americanised and free. For example, "Wilhelm became William", "Jacob became James", "Olivier became Oliver".

It is important for us to know what our surnames are so we can know where our family came from and the history of our ancestors. Famous people and people who have changed the world like Thomas Edison, Albert Einstein, Steve Jobs and Tim Berner Lee are well remembered because they have changed our society. Remembering our original surnames are not as easy because the spellings and pronunciation of them has changed tremendously over the centuries. There are changed so long ago that people today have a hard time tracking down their real surname. In today;s modern society, surnames gives us our own identity and personality, and this is very important to us today
